Welcome to the 2008 Scottish National Sheepdog Trial. It promises to be another exciting event for competitors, spectators, sponsors and supporters. With a superb venue, top class handlers and dogs will duel for top honours, and the privilege of representing Scotland at the 2008 International in Abergele, Conwy (Wales).

Scotland has won the International Supreme 38 times! This compares to 26 wins for England, 24 for Wales and 2 for Ireland.
The great J.M. Wilson from Scotland holds the record number of wins in the International Supreme with a grand total of 9 wins. He also won the Scottish National 11 times and was a 6-time Scottish National Brace Champion.
The first International held in 1906 was won by Scotsman Richard Sandilands with Don 11. The centenary International held in 2006 was also won by a Scotsman, Bobby Dalziel with Joe 272330.
